You flew down to Asheville and we began by having Krishnan
Christmas at Leah’s. It was so amazing
being around you, family, and Juliet just celebrating the holidays. Thursday morning we drove with Juliet and
Karina to Charlotte to visit with Jake and Lani Wallace and then we spent the
afternoon with Leah, Andrew, Venny, Gayathri, and family. We played with the kidlets at the park, had a
yummy Indian dinner, and then finished up the evening playing Catch Phrase in
the hotel room. Friday we headed to D.C.
and dropped off Karina on the way. You
and I had some great talking time in the car and Juliet pooped like ten
times. We spent the night in because I
was starting to feel sick. Saturday we
went to Georgetown, decided we would name one of our children Anastazia, and
took Juliet to the pool where she just laughed and laughed. Then you and I had a pizza and movie
night. Sunday you had to work and Juliet
and I simply tired to survive at home alone and both sick. You finally made it home and you were amazing
taking care of both of us. Monday we
packed up and headed back to Asheville.
For New Years we went out for drinks at the LAB and then stayed in to
watch the ball drop…I could not stay awake.
Sorry. The next two days we were
able to get lots of wedding planning done, have a date night out to Nacho’s
restaurant, and simply have a good time.
I am so in love with you!

Biltmore and Pre-Christmas Activities
You came to town with Pete and Bree, and my friend Karina
was visiting me from Mexico. We didn’t
get a lot of alone time, but we did a lot of fun stuff! We did marriage counseling, Biltmore House
and Winery (!!!), Tupelo Honey, Chocolate Lounge, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, lots of nose blowing, 12 Bones, naps,
Salsas, Zambras, Over Easy, and finally Wal-Mart for some last minute Christmas
shopping. I think that my favorite parts
of the weekend were the Biltmore Winery (I wonder why?!?!) and shopping with
you at Wal-Mart. Shopping together was
our only alone time and we were doing something “normal”; I loved it.
