Turkery Trot and Brunch

We ran the Turkey Trot in Asheville and then had brunch at Leah’s house.  We spent one evening playing Risk; you all destroyed me. ;) It was the last time we really talked until spring. 

Meeting your family

I went with your family to Lake Lure.  You were so nice to me and I was just so confused as to why you would even want to be my friend. Juliet and I met your parents, Pati, and Mala.

You came and visited me at home and met Juliet. You held that 8 lb baby girl, which would one day be yours, in your arms in the rocking chair made by my late grandfather Thomas Sullivan.  Neither of us an any idea what the future would hold.

You called me and I was in labor. Lol

Bele Chere 5K

You ran the Bele Chere 5K with me at my very slow pace!

After the race we went and ate at 12 Bones and you gave me my birthday present.  It included books for Juliet, “Good Night Moon” and “Buenas Noches Luna”.  You were so thoughtful!  That evening we all went to Bele Chere together to walk around.  I had no idea what your intentions were.  I was d.o.n.e. with guys and didn’t really understand why someone, especially you, would want anything to do with me.  My mom told me I should marry you because my un-born child would look like you.

Written all over your face!

We worked in the nursery together and Susan Carlson could tell that you loved me because it was “written all over your face”.  She has been secretly praying for us to get married ever since this day.
