My "to do" List

I bought my ticket and then I made my list of things for you to accomplish during my first trip up to visit you in October over my fall break.  Leah also came over and helped me process lots of things since the whole idea of “us” was new to me.  The following was the list I made:

This is my list.  They are in no particular order.  Some things are not super specific and that is on purpose, so feel free to be creative. I don't have to do all of these things and I'm totally open to suggestions.  Your performance is most definitely a test, so plan wisely.

-kayak or row (crew style, not "row your boat" style) in the Potomac

-go out dancing

-rock climb

-make ceviche and pesto pizza

-watch movie(s) in my pajamas

-a jogging food tour (lol)

-drink mimosas

-ride your motorcycle

-visit the Smithsonian (well, part of it)

-skinny dipping (...jk, jk)

-go out to a sports bar/bar and eat/drink/watch a game, OR go to a real game of some sort (D.C. United, Washington Nationals, Washington Wizards, Washington Capitals, Washington Redskins, a high school game)

-ride the metro

-a surprise activity

-stay up late...sleep late :)

-have a picnic near water

-spend time with you!! (which is really the most important and the only reason I'm going to D.C.)

THE Night

August 26, 2012 at 9:57pm- August 27, 2012 at 4:13 am- We talked on the phone while you drove back to D.C.  This was the night that you won me over, stole my heart, and made me realize that I had fallen for you.

Sand Volleyball

We had some serious DTR at the park with Juliet, followed by Sand Volleyball.  Dawn Moore totally asked Leah about “us” after volleyball…you are SO obvious!

Roller Derby

We got in an early morning run on the Parkway and then crashed Leah and Andrew’s date at the Roller Derby followed by a game of Settlers.  I won!  I was starting to be more and more into you.

Graduation Present/First Date

You gave me the sweetest coupon/card as my graduation gift.  It had a coupon for two “all expenses paid days” in DC, a dinner out in Asheville, and a dinner out at Waffle House between 12 and 4am.  Great gift!  In the evening we went on our first real date.  We started with appetizers and Sangria at Zambras, then Molcajete at Chorizo, and finished with a liquid truffle, brownies, and ginger-snaps at the Chocolate Lounge.

Midnight bikes and IHOP

We went for a moon-lit bike ride followed by a late-night meal at IHOP.  I kicked your butt on the bike ride!  At this point I was giving you a chance, but I was still not convinced about “us”.
